Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Perform data analysis by writing SQL query
2. Implement as per current architecture design of data pipelines and BI solutions.
2. Learn and manage AWS resources including Dynamo DB, S3, RDS, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, Lambda etc.
3. Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support business analyst, data scientists, and customer reporting needs.
4. Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
5. Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
Basic Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Experience with data warehousing, file storage technical architectures, infrastructure components and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in relational database concepts with a sound knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology.
• Experience with cloud and CRM related technologies like AWS or Salesforce is added advantage.
• Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Spark, etc.)
